Kinetic Pulse was started 3 years ago by freelance web developer Laura James based in Bath, Somerset, United Kingdom.

After building up a good reputation and portfolio of clients, Laura was joined by husband Martyn in 2011.

Laura James – Web Developer

Laura has extensive programming experience and over 14 years business experience from roles as an IT consultant, IT Lecturer and web project manager.

Her  key skills are PHP, MySQL, ASP, MS SQL, HTML, Javascript, CSS with a grounding in Search Engine Optimisation, She loves writing bespoke CMS (content management systems), developing WordPress themes and  building e-commerce sites – mostly in Zen Cart and Magento – and can integrate sites with most payment gateways (e.g. SagePay)

She has also had extensive experience with writing HTML email newsletters.

Martyn James

Martyn has over 15 years experience in web development and consultancy, first as an IT consultant then 11 years as Senior Intranet Designer for a major mobile telecomms company.

Specialist areas include:

Martyn also works as a professional drummer and drum teacher at Bath Drum Studio
